So my wife and I first travelled to Lake Como almost 10 years ago and fell in love with it.

Since that time, we were super lucky to have met Julie & Barry... our awesome hosts on our second visit. For our second visit to Lake Como, we booked the Garden suite in Laglio and as they say the rest is history. We found our truly happy place and have returned every year for the last 5 years.

The place is impeccable. We ve travelled throughout various touristy towns in Lake Como, and it was always nice to retreat to a quiter and cozy locale as Laglio. There are several restaurants within walking distance but our condo is the best vista to have an al fresco bbq dinner overlooking the lake ... it doesnt get any better.

Julie & Barry have always been responsive, reliable and fun. They shared with us their wealth of knowledge not only with restaurants, attractions, events boat rentals etc but other surrounding areas like Verona.

We hope to return again as this place is truly our happy place. Salute da Michael, Catherine and on the odd occasion for our now somewhat grown up kids Nathan and Naomi.

We have already been to this apartment three times and have always enjoyed our stay in Laglio. We have always been there in the first weeks of September. The weather was then quite to our taste: 20-25 degrees and rarely to hardly a rainy day.

The apartment is very tasteful and equipped with high quality furnishings. The photos on the Internet correspond to the current facility. The apartment has a covered terrace (on which all meals - from breakfast to dinner - can be enjoyed with a magnificent view of the lake) and a private small garden.

The master bedroom has a bathroom en suite. For the children's room with two separate beds there is a separate bathroom.

The living room has a comfortable couch (which can also be used as another sleeping place), a large TV, free Wi-Fi, etc.

In addition to sufficient dishes also sufficient pots and kitchen appliances (dishwasher, microwave, oven, large fridge / freezer, Nespresso machine, small kitchen grill and kettle). A washing machine, iron and ironing board are also available. Of course, the obligatory hair dryer is not missing either. In the garden of this apartment there is also its own large gas grill.

The terrace and the garden are equipped with various very comfortable garden furniture. In addition to sunbeds and umbrellas, there is also a very comfortable seating area and a dining table with chairs. A pool for shared use is directly on the property.

The outdoor facilities are very well maintained.

Compared to other holiday apartments, you don't miss any comfort here.

To the apartment we have always also been provided with an underground parking space nearby (about 300m).

In Laglio there are shopping facilities for basic needs. About 15 minutes away by car is a large shopping center (Bennet in Cernobbio) where you can buy everything you need seven days a week.

Our local contact person was Julie Webb. The communication was in English. Julie is very friendly, helpful and uncomplicated.

For us the ideal place to spend a relaxing holiday.
